Smile a Child (SAC) is asking people who are able to help to donate some reusable cotton face masks for the charity to distribute to children and other people in the community.
The masks will go to children and people accessing the SAC’s services, many of whom may be on a low income or beginning to come out of isolation after a long period in lockdown.
The masks will form part of the contents of this year’s ‘COVID19 response, SAC distributes posters, sanitary products and some food supplies. With your support SAC hopes to continue providing reusable face masks, antibacterial soap or hand sanitizer and an activity pack, along with information and advice on services in the community.
SAC quickly adapted in response to the Coronavirus pandemic. As well as information and advice, we offered doorstep deliveries, emergency welfare and safety support for the most vulnerable and wellbeing advice.
